PLEASE NO MORE FASHION KUDOS FOR MICHELE OBAMA

Her last outfit had a belt strapped so tightly around her chest -- what was that all about --doesn't she like to breath and the white bow is so huge -- it's totally out of balance. There is no beauty in that outfit. Maybe, everyone likes Michele Obama but this idea that she is a fashion icon is ridiculous. and without merit. Just because she wears outlandish silly prints does not make her wardrobe stunning.

NARNIA A MUST SEE MOVIE

"Here in the unenchanted world of ordinary moviegoing, it has been about two and a half years since “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” the first installment in Walt Disney and Walden Media’s mighty “Chronicles of Narnia” franchise. In wartime England, where the Pevensie children live when they’re not consorting with talking lions and battling witches, a year or so has gone by. But in Narnia itself, to which the four plucky Pevensies return in “Prince Caspian,” the second movie in the series, centuries have passed, and everything has changed. The grand hall where Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy were made monarchs of the realm has fallen into ruin, and the friendly woodland creatures with their homey British accents and computer-animated fur seem to have vanished from the scene."

ARE YOU READY FOR 7 INCH HEELS?

"Increasingly, they are investing in hot-off-the-catwalk styles, and the more outrageous, the better. These extreme heels are the last refuge of the fashion snob. The high street simply cannot replicate such daring designs. As one label queen says: “Anybody can carry a bag – look what happened to the Balenciaga Lariat. But not everyone can pull off Balenciaga knee-high gladiator boots.” Indeed, impossible shoes are a badge of pride in fashion circles. “I haven’t bought a pair of shoes I can walk in for about two years,” confesses one fashion buyer. She doesn’t seem to mind, and has adjusted her lifestyle to suit. As well as having a serious taxi addiction, she habitually carries two pairs of shoes: heels for on duty and flats for walking to the bus. It’s no coincidence that Sebastian Manes, accessories honcho at Selfridges, reports selling as many flat pumps as he does outrageous heels.
Wear a sensible heel and the fash pack will, literally, look down on you. I narrowly avoided shoe shade when I picked up a pair of YSL Tribute sandals at the more commercial heel height of 11cm, as opposed to the 16cm catwalk version. “Claudia, you’re not going to wear them, are you? Those are selling heels,” said my designer-clad friend, not bothering to hide her disgust. For all you fashion civilians, a “selling” heel is a toned-down (lower) version of what appears on the catwalk."

GUIDING LIGHT

Cyrus and Alexandra marrying is a little predictable but the two are such fine actors that they make it very interesting. Can't wait to see what happens next.

HAIRSPRAY

There never was a dull moment in this movie. Very upbeat. Great dancing. A fun musical your sure to enjoy.

DARK SHADOWS THE MOVIE

Johnny Depp was a big fan of the show and he may be playing Barnabas Collins. Can't wait.

HARRY POTTER ON THE LOOSE

There are many leaks on the internet. The publishers are taking legal action.

"A printing plant worker in Britain was sentenced to 180 hours' community service after attempting to sell three chapters of Potter book five to a tabloid in 2003.
Two years later, a handful of copies of book six were sold early in Canada, prompting the distributor there to apply for a court injunction barring buyers from disclosing the plot."
